The holiday season is well underway and Christmas will arrive before we know it. One of the most popular items to get for Christmas is a new phone and Apple has a few items that will be on every wish list. While some iPhone users are more interested in the latest iPhone releases, some will be leaning towards an iPhone 7 or 8 to save money or avoid Face ID. I will provide a brief rundown of the four current iPhone models to make your decision a little bit easier. Part 1 of The iPhone Wish List will focus on the iPhone 7 and iPhone 8 while Part 2 will compare the iPhone XR with the iPhone XS.

IPhone 7
This is the most affordable iPhone at Apple but also the oldest. This comes in two models: the iPhone 7 with a 4.7 inch display and the iPhone 7 Plus with a 5.5 inch display. The regular iPhone 7 costs between $449 and $549. The iPhone 7 Plus is slightly more expensive ranging from $569 to $669. Both iPhone 7 models come in four colors: Black, Silver, Gold, and Rose Gold. It is also important to know that both iPhone 7 models only come in the 32GB and 128GB capacities.

IPhone 8
The iPhone 8 also comes in two models: the iPhone 8 with a 4.7 inch display and the iPhone 8 Plus with a 5.5 inch display. The former ranges from $599 to $749 while the latter will cost between $699 and $849. Both models are only available in three colors: Silver, Space Gray, and Gold. Unlike the previously mentioned iPhone 7, the iPhone 8 comes in the 64GB and 256GB capacities.

Which one is the better deal? The iPhone 8 models will have wireless charging, more available memory, glass back, wireless charging, and an A11 processor. If you are comfortable spending more to get those upgrades then the iPhone 8 is your best bet.

Choosing an iPhone can be a difficult task but it is important to know the specifications and prices so you can make an informed decision. I hope this article made your decision a little bit clearer but still do research on your own to get the best phone for your money. Stay tuned for Part 2 and leave a comment below naming your favorite phone.
