1. Garmin Vivosmart
This is my personal favorite fitness band. I love that the display is totally invisible until you give it a tap (or until you get an alert). I also love that after one hour of inactivity (for example, sitting on your butt watching Orange is the New Black), you get a little ping to remind you to get up and move a little.
2. Jawbone UP24
If you want a fitness tracker that will also monitor your sleep, this might be the band for you. It also gives you a little alert when you've been idle too long, and it's available in six colors and three sizes.
Frequently asked questions
3. Mio Fuse
Most heart rate monitors require a chest strap, but not the Mio Fuse! You can also use the Fuse to track your steps, pace, distance, and calories burned.
4. Basis Peak
Some people use these trackers for fitness alone, while others use them to monitor their sleep, too. But the Basis also helps manage stress, which is, of course, just taking your fitness goals one step further. How cool is that?
5. Runtastic Orbit
If you're a runner, chances are, you've already used the Runtastic app on its own. Now there's a fitness tracker that syncs with the app, giving you even more information for each run.
6. Misfit Flash
Some of these trackers seem so complicated! If you want something a little less complex, but still just as helpful, try the Misfit Flash. Side note: it's also a little bling-ier (with some customization options), in case you're as into sparkle and shine as much as feeling the burn.
7. Polar M400
Perhaps what you need is a little more running intensity, and not as many silly bells and whistles. This little watch-style tracker pushes you hard, and I love it!
See? There are loads of fitness trackers besides the ubiquitous FitBit! Do you use any of these? Or are you hooked on another wearable tracker?
